Nives: she was the kind of person that leaves a mark on your heart, if you were lucky enough to cross her path and stop a while. She was full of life, love and hot debate. She loved people and loved to get together to share scrumptious dishes that she prepared, along with Angelo's wonderful homemade wine, in the company of friends and family to discuss the topic of the day. I will forever remember, with great fondness, the eternal truth she repeated often. "We had less but we had more: they have more but have less -- get my point?" Yes, Nives, I get your point. And your point is that your generation had less material things but your lives were richer because you got together, showed that you cared about each other, and had a party; today, people have plenty of material things but don't get together as much and so there is isolation and loneliness; and therefore their lives are poorer. How right you were and I could not agree more. I miss you and will never forget you; thank you for enriching my life. May you rest in peace and may your spirit be in a place full of love and light. Love Kathryn.
