Obituary of James Joseph Nash

NASH, James - Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 9, 2015 at University Hospital in London, ON. Born 1934, Jim was 81 years old. Married to Cheryl Nash (nee Johnston), they were set to celebrate their 50th anniversary this month. Jim was a caring father to Tim, Dan (Jill Carter), and Sean (Carrie), and a proud grandfather to Caelin, Cole and Kate. He was a loving brother to, and is survived by, Nora (a Sister of St. Francis of Philadelphia), Mary, Michael and Joe, in addition to his brother-in-law, Bob (Maeve) and sister-in-law, Cathy. Jim is predeceased by his parents, sister, Anne Dillon, and brother, Tom Nash (Joan), as well as his in-laws, George and Madeline, Peggy, Chris, and Ray Johnston. He will be missed by many extended family and friends including those back home in Ireland. Visitation will take place on Monday, July 13th at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Church, 377 Oakland Avenue, on Tuesday morning, July 14th at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions are appreciated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, London & Area Office, 150 - 633 Colborne Street, London, ON N6B 2V3
