Obituary of Dominic Stracuzza

STRACUZZA, Dominic Anthony Passed away quietly on July 1, 2015 at Victoria Hospital, at the age of 87. He lived all of his life in the family home in south London. Dominic was a talented accordionist, having taught music both at the Ontario Conservatory of Music as well as private lessons from his home. He brought joy to many people through his music and was an outgoing entertainer and band member over many years. Saddened by the loss of their father are Mary (wife of Frank Zadel) of Cambridge and Rocco Stracuzza (husband of Tania) of Delta, B.C. Dominic leaves behind four grandchildren in all; two from his daughter Mary are, Leah (wife of Michael Martuscelli) of Newmarket, and Stephen Zadel of Cambridge and two from son Rocco, are Cleo Stracuzza and Cole Stracuzza of Delta, B.C. As well, Dominic has two lovely great-granddaughters, Sophia and Claudia of Newmarket. The family is enormously thankful for the compassionate care given by the London Paramedics and the nurses and doctors of Victoria Hospital. Visitation will be on Monday, July 6, 2015 at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, from 10:30am until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon with Father Jim Mockler of St Peter's Cathedral Basilica. A reception luncheon will follow. Cremation with interment in St. Peter's Cemetery.
