Obituary of William Malcolm Smoothy

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Malcolm Smoothy Jr. on Tuesday June 16, 2015 at the age of 70. Bill left this world peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital. He is predeceased by his loving parents William Smoothy Sr. & Dorothy (nee) Buchanan. He will be dearly missed by his sister Mary Jane Neumann and all his community of friends at Pine Hill Rest Home. Bill was full of positive energy and had incredible zest for life and was an amazing writer. He loved his daily trips to Tim Hortons and everyday he made it his mission to care and help the people around him. Thank you to the staff at Pine Hill Rest Home for giving Bill a loving home. Cremation has taken place. Donations to The Caring Cupboard Food Bank of St. Thomas would be appreciated.
