Dear Renée and Family, We offer you our condolences on the passing of Mark. We all loved him. He was such a generous, joyful, and loving man. He was so kind as an uncle when we used to visit Mrs Wickham when our children were very young. May he rest in peace. Love Adèle and family

My dad (Bob) always had a special rapport with his younger brother Mark. As the story goes, they shared a room together as kids, and also shared the highs and lows of being siblings close in age. Dad told us that he used to tease and push his younger brother around until the day Mark grew sturdier than him and delivered a serious punch. From that day forward, dad showed him more respect and there was little or no physical tussling between them.
Mark and dad had a special relationship that endured despite the physical distance that separated them most of their adult lives. They maintained a regular written correspondence that dad always relished. Mark could make dad laugh as no one else could. We always knew dad was on the phone with Uncle Mark when we'd hear his foot stomping and bursts of laughter.
We (the Bob Wickham family) are deeply saddened by the passing of Uncle Mark, but we find some comfort in knowing that Bob and Mark are reunited once more, along with their parents, grandparents and other siblings who left before them.
Lots of love,
Patricia

Dear Aunt Renée, Please accept my deepest sympathies in this most difficult time. I know Uncle Mark found a true soulmate in you and that you made him very happy and for that we are most thankful. Uncle Mark was a good man. We wish we had been geographically closer and able to visit more often. Warm regards, Patricia
