Obituary of Matteo De Vincenzo

At Victoria Hospital on Sunday June 7, 2015, Matteo Antonio De Vincenzo passed away peacefully in his 90th year. Cherished husband of Pasqualina De Vincenzo (nee Del Re) for 64 wonderful years. Beloved father of Pasquale "Pat" (Mary), Antonio (Beatrice), Marcello (Betty), Claudio (Carmen), Fermina Morgan (Bruce). Dear grandfather of Patricia, Angela, Lina, Nicholas, Matthew Anthony, Christina, Alexandra, Stephanie, Matthew Robert, Julia, Robert, and Sofia. Proud great-grandfather to Christopher, Nicholas, Nia, and Lucas. Survived by brother Antonio De Vincenzo. Predeceased by parents Pasquale (1959) and Pasqualina (1978) and siblings Nicola De Vincenzo, Teresa Zagarese, and Maria Monaco. Matteo will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 o'clock. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street at York Street on Wednesday June 10, 2015 at 11 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum at St. Peter's Cemetery. In memory of Matteo, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
