Obituary of Lucia Barbara Hart

Hart, Lucia (nee Silvestro) Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday May 23, 2015 , in her 62nd year. Dear wife of Thomas Hart. Loving mother of Bryan, Patrick and Daniel. Adored sister of Bob (Pauline), Anthony, Vince (Dina) and Lori (Frank). Aunt to Cassandra (Justin), Lauren (Graeme), and Lisa. Great aunt to Easton and Charlotte. Survived by many cousins Alfredo and Mary, Vinicio and Germana, and their families; Guy (Lynne, Marc), Ida (John, Nicole, Andrea, Danielle), Anthony (Susan, Sonja, Thomas), Concetta and Dora, Angela (Marco, Luca, Annie, Byron), Frank (Dawn, Paul, Dean, Frank) and Emilia (Gabriel, Giulianna). Predeceased by Parents Vincenzo and Annamaria Silvestro, Uncle and Aunt, Tommaso and Antonietta Nicoletti, and Godparents, Georgio and Rocchina (Luigi). Also survived by close friends, Pauline DeLuca, Lynne, Norah, Ben, Cathy, Marina, Sandra, Marilyn, Glenna, Wendy, Don, Dee, Judy, Rusty, Bernie, Mary, Mike, Andrienna, Enza, Krys, Paul, Gord, Joanne, Stephanie, Maria, Rosanna, Lina, and Maria. Lucia will be missed by the staff at Notre Dame, St. John's and Pius X Catholic schools. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday May 26, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock, with prayers at 3 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Wednesday morning, 10 o'clock. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations in memory of Lucia to Ovarian Cancer Canada or the Community Care Access Centre would be appreciated. Heart felt thanks to Lucia's nurses on the 4th floor of LHSC, to the ICU team, to Dr. Sugimoto and the Cancer Clinic, to the Palliative Care Team and also to the CCAC Team for their wonderful and compassionate care of Lucia during her lengthy illness.
