Bates, Margaret Peacefully at home with family on Sunday, May 17, 2015 Margaret Bates at the age of 85. Wife of the late Roy Bates. Loving mother of Catherine Bates, Theresa Castillo and Jen Schouten and her husband John. Much loved grandma to Sydney, Andrew, Emily, Michelle and Jon. Marg's passions were her family and friends, a good game of golf and the Toronto Blue Jays. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Friday morning May 22nd from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Funeral Service at 12:30 p.m. Inurnment in Holy Family Mausoleum - St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Dr. Strong's Brain and Spinal Cord Research, Room C7-120 University Hospital, 339 Windermere Road, London, Ontario N6A 5A5 would be appreciated.
