Obituary of Elizabeth Godwin

At Elmwood Place on Thursday, April 9th, 2015, Elizabeth Godwin in her 94th year. Predeceased by her loving husband and best friend Frederick Godwin (1990). Cherished mother of Rudy (Brenda), Joe (Lisa), David and the late Kane (1994). Dear grandmother to Brent (Chandel), Megan (Tim) Parsons, Brooke and Mark. Great grandma of Rosie and Audrey. Loved sister of Mary Lemaire of British Columbia and the late Louise Karns. Also survived by many nieces and nephews from all across Canada. Elizabeth immigrated to Canada when she was seven years old with her parents and settled in the London area. She met and married Fred Godwin and they were together for 38 years. Elizabeth was loved and respected by all who knew her for her kind and gentle ways. She loved cooking, watching baseball and taking care of her boys. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Saturday, April 11th from 10 o’clock until the time of the Funeral Service at 11 o’clock. Interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Donations to the Multiple Myeloma Society would be appreciated.
