Obituary of Elaine Cecilia Feeney

Feeney (nee Murray), Elaine Cecilia Peacefully at Marian Villa on Wednesday March 18, 2015. Elaine "Sweetheart" Cecilia Feeney in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Peter J. Feeney. Cherished mother of Peter M. Feeney. Dear sister of Margaret O'Brien, Joan Ferris and her husband John, and sister-in-law of Anne Murray. Predeceased by parents Harold and Mary Murray and siblings Marie Dale, Jim Murray, and brothers-in-law Bill Dale and Joe O'Brien. Elaine will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Elaine was a teacher for 35 years in the Separate School Board, a member of the C.W.L. and an active parishioner of St. Michael's Church, a Detroit Tiger and Red Wing Fan and an avid gardener. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Michael's Church, 511 Cheapside Street, on Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will take place at St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Sunday afternoon at 3:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
