Obituary of Giovanna Carlucci

Carlucci, Giovanna (nee DiLollo) Passed away peacefully with her family at her side at St. Joseph’s Hospice in London, Ontario on March 15th, 2015 after her battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 75 years old. Giovanna was the beloved wife of Nicola Carlucci for 56 years. Loving mother to Felix (Barbara), Rosa (Terry), Marisa (John) and Liliana (Scott). She was a loving grandmother to Nicolas, Arianna, Alyssa, Megan, Lea, Jesse, Samantha, Christian and Aaron. She was the middle daughter of 10 children of the late Antonio DiLollo and Anna Maria DiLollo (nee Zannella). Giovanna will be fondly remembered by her family and many friends. She was born in Macchiagodena, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1956. Giovanna loved to cook, bake, garden, attend church and most of all spend time with her family and friends. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff and volunteers at St. Joseph’s Hospice, London, for their kindness and compassion. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday, March 19th from 2-4 and 7-9 o’clock. Funeral Mass at St. Justin’s Parish, 855 Jalna Boulevard, on Friday morning at 11 o’clock. Entombment at Holy Family Mausoleum – St. Peter’s Cemetery. Prayers Thursday afternoon at 3:45. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Joseph’s Hospice would be appreciated.
