Obituary of Marie Christine Beninger

Beninger, Marie Peacefully at Westmount Gardens Nursing Home on Sunday, March 15, 2015 Marie Christine Beninger in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Beninger. Loving mother of Dianne (Bill) Ferris, Karen (Don) Varnell, Becky (John) Bulsza, Laurie (Don) Bolen, and Kevin (Sue Alexander) Beninger. Proud grandmother of Janice, Brian and Andrew Ferris, Sandra and Greg Varnell, Robin (Jason) Sullivan, Stephanie Bulsza, Tahra Bolen and Taylor Dixon-Beninger. Dear great grandmother of Marc-Andre, Jean Francois, Alexandre, Nathan, Noah, Justis, Ben and Josh. Predeceased by her brothers George and Jerome. Marie cherished her family and friends. She was an avid square and round dancer and furnished family with the many fruits of her craft labours. She was a past president of St. Michael's C.W.L. and secretary at St. Michael's Church for 47 years. She also served as Chair of Parish Council. In her retirement years Marie volunteered with Save a Family Plan and Cherryhill Information Center. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. George Church, 1164 Commissioners Road West, on Saturday, April 18th at 11 o'clock. A reception will follow immediately after Mass in the parish hall. Inurnment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations to St. Vincent de Paul Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
