John Anthony McNally, 82, died peacefully Saturday, March 7th, 2015 at University Hospital in London following an extended illness. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, son of Nellie and Alfred Joseph McNally, brother to Brian, Rosaline, Hazel, and Carmel. Beloved husband to Eileen (Moir) and dear father to sons Michael Anthony and Christopher Ian. Trained as a cabinet-maker, "Jack" Immigrated to Canada in 1966. His gregarious nature and natural sense of humour endeared him to many; he developed lasting friendships and will surely be missed by all who knew him. He will especially be missed by his wife and two sons whom he devoted his whole life to. An avid stained glass enthusiast, Jack produced impressive and intricate designs that drew much admiration. He threw himself into the craft, learning advanced techniques and styles that resulted in a variety of beautiful works. Jack was a dedicated member of The Knights Of Columbus for more than 50 years.
The funeral service will be held at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street in London, on Saturday, March 14th at 11 o'clock. A donation made to The Heart and Stroke Society would be a great way to honour his memory.
