Obituary of Erika Specht

SPECHT, ERIKA Passed away peacefully at L.H.S.C. - University Hospital on January 22nd, 2015 in her 80th year. She was a proud Bohemian who survived the horrors of the Czech expulsion of Germans in 46/47 to make a new life in our great land. Predeceased by her husband Friedrich (Fritz) Specht in 2007. Loving mother of Christian and the late Steven (2009). Proud grandmother of Alexander and Maximilian. Mother-in-law of Jennifer. Sister-in-law of Sophie Morrell and her late husband Ron (2009) of California, Christa Mueller and her husband Fritz of Rottenburg, Germany and the late Irene Leins (2013) and her husband Helmut of Esslingen, Germany. Predeceased by her brother Franz and parents Franz and Anna Schoenhoefer of Pressnitz, Bohemia. Much loved companion of her dog, Dexter. Erika will be sadly missed by all who shared in her vivacious personality. A celebration of her life will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Salvation Army Respite Program or Sari Therapeutic Riding would be appreciated. Special thanks to Dr. M.
