Szwec, Harry (Gary) After a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, January 12, 2012 Harry (Gary) Szwec in his 61st year. Cherished and loving husband of Carol. Devoted and cherished father of Jennifer Owens and her husband Jonathan and Matthew Szwec and his wife Jenn. Proud and adoring grandpa of Pixel. Dear brother of Nick and Vera. Predeceased by his parents Polykarp and Frances Szwec. Beloved son-in-law of Jennie and the late Robert Simmons. Dear brother-in-law of Linda Simmons and Cathy Berry and her husband Steve. Uncle Gary will be fondly remembered by Tyler, Jordan, Wendy, Robin, Kim and Robbie. Also fondly remembered by Pete and Joanna. Special thank you to the Palliative Care C6 200 staff at Victoria Hospital for all their loving care and support. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Sunday, January 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Michael's Church, 511 Cheapside Street, on Monday morning at 10 o'clock.. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery.
