Obituary of Roy Wallace Bates

BATES, Roy Wallace, Peacefully surrounded by his family on January 6, 2012 at Glendale Crossing, Roy Bates in his 78th year. Loving husband of Margaret, who celebrated their 50th anniversary on December 28th. Proud father of Catherine Bates, Theresa Castillo and Jen Schouten and her husband John. Much loved grandpa to Sydney, Andrew and Emily. A special thank you to the caring staff and residents of Glendale Crossing, all who made Roy's life full and enjoyable. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Monday morning January 9 from 11 o'clock until the time of the funeral service at 12 Noon. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the C.O.L.D. Program through the St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation.
