Obituary of Domenico DiCesare

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father Domenico DiCesare, peacefully at Victoria Hospital on December 20th, 2014 at the age of 89. He was surrounded by his loving family and is now reunited with the love of his life, his wife the late Cristina DiCesare (November 11th, 2014). Domenico was the adored father of Giovanna and Alfonso DiTrolio and Rita and Renato Bonasia. Cherished grandfather of Joseph and his wife Keelan DiTrolio, Domenico DiTrolio, Joseph Bonasia, Francesca Bonasia, Cristina Bonasia, Renata and her husband David Bruno and David Bonasia, precious great-grandfather of Avelina and Leandro DiTrolio. Predeceased by his parents Andrea DiCesare and Giovanna Fabrizi, father and mother in law Antonio Petrella and Paola Buccilli. Dear brother of the late Antonio DiCesare, Maria Rubini, Aquilino DiCesare and Rosalinda DiCesare. Dear brothers in law of the late Giuseppe Rubini, Cesidio and his wife Nunziata Petrella, Panfilo Petrella and Domenico D'Alessandro. Survived by sisters in law Rosalina DiCesare, Assunta D'Alessandro, and Adua Petrella, and brother in law Salvatore and his wife Edera Petrella. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews here in Canada, Italy and France. Domenico was a true patriarch to our family, a hardworking man with a big heart. He was a dedicated employee for close to 30 years at Riverside Construction/TCG and he took great pride in paving the roads of London. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday, December 22nd from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock with prayers at 3 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Tuesday, December 23rd at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
