I met Nonna when Kelly and Al were preparing to get married. At first glance, she was the typical grandmother; loving, nurturing, very welcoming and constantly telling everyone to keep eating. As a stranger, she welcomed me into her home and family and even years later, kept asking Kelly how her funny friend was doing. You can feel the overwhelming love and respect everyone had for her and her for them. Theresa, Kelly and Al always spoke very highly of her and after having met her, I can understand why her passing is such a loss to the family, but such a gain in heaven.
My prayers and thoughts are with you all.
