I had the pleasure of working with Mike during his time at Labatt Park when the London Tigers were in town. I have never met a more dedicated and hard working individual. He was a good leader and very knowledgeable in the areas of turf care and maintenance of sports fields. He was also very good at sharing his knowledge with others who worked in similar areas. My sincere condolences to Mikes family.

My sincere condolences to Jill and all of Mike's family. Mike was a best friend when we were teenagers going to school and playing a lot of hockey. He took great pride in his work at the city of London and recognized for his expertise in maintaining Labatt park and all London recreation facilities under his care. In recent years we met at London Knight games usually standing in his favourite spot and exchanged stories how the kids where doing. Mike was very proud of his children and an active father. I will miss seeing his warm smile everytime we met and talking to Mike. Very sorry for your loss. Brian Loubert
