QUIGLEY, Lucy Agnes (nee Wintermeyer)
Passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Wednesday Sept 24, 2014 in her 93rd year. She was predeceased by her loving husband Thomas Henry 'Harry' Quigley (1965), her parents Alfred & Caroline Wintermeyer., her brother John J Wintermeyer (Helen & Betty), sisters Mary Quigley (Malachi), Rita
Shoniker (Edward James). Much loved Mother of Mary Anne (the late George Lenio) and Thomas Quigley. Nana will be missed by her grandchildren: Jennifer (Ed) , Colleen, Tom, Martha, Susan (Brock), Robert (Natalie), Mary Catherine, Lucy and her great grandchildren Liam B, Liam L and Spencer. She leaves her loving sisters Elizabeth "Betty" (the late William Brennan) and Therese (the late Dr James Wiley). She also leaves behind her many nieces and nephews , their spouses and families from her extended Quigley and Wintermeyer families. Mum was the last surviving spouse of her husband Harry Quigley's family. Lucy, along with her four sisters, were proud graduates of Brescia College. Lucy lived her life devoted to her faith and family, enjoying her summers at Lake of Bays surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to CCAC, VON, Revera, St Elizabeth and the PSW's and Palliative Care team who enabled her to make her final journey at home. Special thanks to the Byron Medical Centre team Toula, and Doctors Mackay and Sweiden. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday evening from 6-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Cremation with interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Friday evening at 8 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cardiac Care Institute c/o LHSF.ca or the Wintermeyer Scholarship Fund c/o Brescia College would be appreciated.
