Thank you for your understanding, thank you for your humour, thank you for your openness, thank you for everything. I can't thank you enough, really. You are someone who was truly able to look beyond me and my classmates' greenness and inform the people we would eventually become in this era of early adulthood we are now all in. You spoke to us with frankness as well as gentleness, and we're all better people for it. 4 years later and we all remember you well. I think you'd be proud to see that a lot of us stayed together, and that we all look out for each other. To say that we think the world of you is an understatement. You are so loved. x

Robin was such a genuinely good person. My kids Alexandra and Adrian Chin loved him. He was great with kids of any age and they all respected him. I think the key to Robin's influence on the kids and the people that he met in general was that he respected them and he took time to get to know them.

Nous sommes les grand-parents de Kara Lansdowne. Robin et Kara etaient tous deux de l'Ecole Marie-Curie. Il a toujours ete gentil avec nous et nous traitait comme de l'or. Il etait un 'gentleman' de premiere classe. Son rire etait infectueux et il considerait Kara sa princesse. Il nous a bien impressiones. Repose en paix Robin. Tu le merites bien.

Robin
J'ai eu l'honneur de partager la route de la vie avec toi pour si peu. Nous avons passé quelques soirées interminables à jouer de la musique, à discuter de la vie, de ton rôle de père, de Clara, de notre enfance, de la maladie et parfois de la mort. Malheureusement, à force de rage, d'embûche et de désespoir, cette dernière est venue te chercher trop rapidement. Beaucoup vont te manquer et sache que si quelqu'un à besoin de mon aide, ma porte sera grande ouverte. Malgré la tristesse qui me hante, je garderai toujours en mémoire les bons moments passés avec toi.
Sur une note plus positive, je t'ai répertorié le Top 5 de nos petites folies
Regarder Trailer Park Boys.
Aller à Détroit avec mon ami Pascal pour voir un match des Tigers.
Revenir de ce même match en chantant du Motown avec le conducteur de taxi.
Regarder les matchs des Canadiens en sacrant.
Chanter Love is d'Allanah Myles en allant voir les Celtics au Air Canada Centre.

Rob, I will remember you for eternity my old friend. The times we shared for that briefest of moments in our childhood is forever engraved in my heart and will forever be cherished. We were the best of friends, inseparable, playing in our back yards with imaginations limitless to our own little minds. We were brothers, and in this short time, I am happy, honored and grateful for being your friend. You brought a dynamic, amazingly funny and different perspective to everything!! Sometimes quirky even, you weren't afraid of being yourself and that brought the best of me. I wish we could have kept more in touch over the years, I am forever grateful I got the chance to see you a few years ago when we went to see a Blue Jays game. To see you again was a wish of mine for the longest of times that amazingly came true. It was like we had never left, crazy old habits came back. We were for a moment, at least in my mind, those two kids again!! Thank you brother. I miss you and love you. I will see you again at the gates of heaven!!

We loved Robin very much, those two last years, we got to know him more and spend lots of time with him and Clara. He was strong minded but he had a big heart underneath that shield!!
