Obituary of Mary Frances Devine

Devine, Mary Frances Passed away peacefully at LHSC University Hospital on Sunday, August 17th, 2014 Mary Frances in her 88th year. Loving sister of Rev. John Devine of London. Predeceased by her parents Joseph (1958) and Agnes (1977) and her sister Margaret (2004). Born and raised in London Mary was a proud retiree of the London Police Service having served nearly 30 years as secretary to four police chiefs (Carroll, Johnson, Shipley and Fantino). Mary was an avid bridge player achieving the Life Master designation. She was fiercely proud to be a Londoner and cherished living with a view of Victoria Park, where her mother played as a child and of St. Peter's Basilica where she practiced her religion. Visitors will be received at St. Peter's Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue, on Wednesday morning, August 20th from 9 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10 am. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery.
