Obituary of Lorraine Newton

Lorraine Newton (nee Boland) - on August 13, 2014, peacefully in her 92nd year. Lorraine was born in Toronto on August 9, 1923 to Colette O'Connor and John S Boland. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Derek H Newton and siblings Claire Davies, Jack Boland, and Patricia Gajewski. She is survived by her daughter Janet Dudek and husband Victor of Sarnia, and her daughter Colette Newton of Alexandria. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Nancy Dudek of Ottawa, Derek Dudek and wife Alison (Ogar) of London, Jennifer Shaver and husband Chad of Port Credit, and Jeremy Bart and wife Crystal (Robertson) of Ottawa. Great grandchildren are Duncan and Isobel Bart, Maren and Hana Dudek, and Abby and Noah Shaver. Lorraine was an involved and active member of St Peter's Basilica parish.
