Obituary of Loreto Rossi

Rossi, Loreto Surrounded by his family at Henley Place, peacefully Loreto Rossi has passed in his 97th year. Loreto was the loving husband of the late Rosina for over 70 years. Loving father to his children Joe (Onelia) Rossi, Luisa (late Mario) Carducci, Angelo (Heather) Rossi and Felicia (Nino) Monaco; his grandchildren Margherita, Danny (Maria), Rosanna (Rob), Natalie (Jesse), Loreto (Sandra), Joseph (Helena), Selena (Keith), Angela (Mike), Michelle (Vitor) and Cristina (Doug); his great grandchildren Tatiana, Isaiah, Molly, Cristian, Olivia, Adria, Joey, Ruby, Luca, Mila, Alexander, Mateo, Nico and Eliana. Predeceased by his siblings Vittorio (Camilla), Teresa (Franco), Vincenzo (Paolina), Gigio, Grazia (Virginio) and Marietta (Clemente) and his in-laws Anita (Luigi), Adelina (Giuseppe), Elvira, Marietta (Giuseppe), Alfredo (Concetta) and Angelo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. A special thank you to Henley Place staff for their kindness and support of Loreto and his family. Loreto retired as a foreman for the City of London after 35 years of service. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Wednesday, August 1st from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Thursday morning, August 2nd at 10 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Wednesday evening at 8:15. Donations to St. Mary's Church Restoration Fund or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
