Obituary of Domenico Carapella
In his 62nd year, passed suddenly Wednesday morning June 25, 2014 at L.H.S.C. Dominic loved his family more than anything in the world. Devoted son of Antonio and Anna (both deceased), he leaves behind his loving partner of 15 years Donna Smale, dear brothers Joe (Lyn) and Mario (Tina), nephews Adam (Laura), Matthew and Jake, niece Olivia, and great niece Victoria. He had a special bond with his caring Zizi, Connie who will miss him deeply. Dominic will also be sadly missed by cousins Domenic Griffa (Milva), Joe, Alex, and Andrew as well as many more family and friends in London, Sault Ste. Marie, and Italy. Born in Gessopalena, Abruzzo, Italy, Dominic and his family came to Canada in 1958 settling in Wawa, Ontario, then Sault Ste Marie, and later London. ' Big D' was always the centre of attention and full of enthusiasm. His infectious personality made a lasting impact on everyone he met. He had a strong passion for and vast knowledge of movies, music and sports, rarely missing a game of the Montreal Canadiens or Toronto Blue Jays.Visitors will be received at the John T.
