So sad to hear of Jack's death. We have so very many wonderful memories with Jack. Especially Saturday nights after Mass around our dining room table; playing euchre and laughing hysterically over the craziest little things. We know of his deep faith. Just a wonderful man! One of our last fond memories of time spent with Uncle John was in a park on the Rideau River in Ottawa on a beautiful sunny July 24th. It was a fabulous day, Kevin, Gina, Deanna and her children Aunt Marie and Uncle John, Heidi, Sam and Joe were all there. We had 2 excellent meals, played wonderful games of bocci and all in all just had a wonderful time. It was a last minute unplanned get together and at the end of the day when I called my mom to tell her about our lovely day she wished me a happy anniversary, we had totally forgotten about our anniversary but lo and behold we had a great celebration and didn't know it, we could not have planned a better way to spend that day if we had tried.

Just heard the sad news of Jack's passing. We have known Jack for about 20 years now and found him to be a very warm man who had the ability make anyone feel welcome immediately.
