I cannot express in enough words how sad I am to hear about Josh's passing. Josh and I were good friends and neighbours when he lived at 18 Yorkville and we would walk our dogs Annabelle and Molly together. Even when he moved out of the area, he was still such a light and support in my life and we shared so many laughs together. I will miss Josh terribly. I will never forget the moment when I was told he was no longer with us. He was a true friend to me. He was kind, loving and so thoughtful. Josh truly loved life, he loved his friends. Josh always had a kind word for everyone, he made me feel very special. We shared a few days in Nassau together for his birthday just a few months ago. He was so happy. We laughed a lot on that trip and we had beautiful birthday celebration on the beach all lit up with tiki torches. He was so grateful, so happy. He always wanted to please, no ask was too great - he always wanted to make sure that 'you' were okay. He never complained - he saw the brightness in everything. I will never forget Josh. I will never forget how he made me feel, how he made others feel and I will never forget his smile. It is in front of me as I write this. My only regret is that I wish I could have spent more time with Josh, spent more time talking to him. I hope he has found true peace; I know his smile is the shining light of heaven.
I only knew Josh for a little over a year, yet he affected my life and I will never forget the light of Josh Roman.
Rest in peace my friend.
