Obituary of Franca Tomasic

Tomasic, Franca Peacefully with her family by her side at Chateau Gardens on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 Franca Tomasic age 87 years. Dear mother of Katica Matesic (Milan) and Ankica Les (Lojz). Loving grandmother of Kathy Green, Tomo Matisic (Gina), Mary Ruddock (Jamie), Slavko Les (Anne Marie) and Suzan Johnson (Matt) and great grandmother to nine. Predeceased by her sisters Marija Zivcic and Kata Tomasic. Franca was born in Croatia on March 21, 1924 and immigrated to Canada in 1970. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Sunday, September 11th from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Leopold Mandic Croatian Church, 2889 Westminster Drive, on Monday morning, September 12th at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Sunday evening at 8 o'clock. Donations to St. Leopold Mandic Church Restoration Fund or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
