This is my third attempt to leave a message!! Please God let it be successful. Your kindness, calmness, generosity and humour are the qualities we saw in you. I admired your constant faith and commitment. It is not too much to say that you inspired me in many ways. May you continue to guide and inspire your family through shared memories and words spoken in the past. With love xxxx

When I think of Aunt Madeleine the first things that come to mind are her laugh and smile. I never saw her down or sad. Holiday celebration memories are of utter chaos in the kitchen, 7 or more kids wrestling or playing 'Twister' in the living room and trying to fit us all at one table, with Madeleine laughing and smiling and taking care off everyone the whole time. They are treasured memories of my childhood.

What a huge shock and terrible tragedy! Madeleine will be missed by so many people, she was well loved and thought of highly. She was a wonderful mum and loved here children and grandchildren above everythiing else, she was so proud of you all. Her generosity of spirit and sense of goodness will live on in both her children and grandchildren. A good friend to so many, always there, nothing too much trouble, a listening ear, always on the go.......you are a close family, you will look after each other and will see each other through this difficult time and beyond. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, particularly tomorrow. I know that Marguerite wishes to send lots of love to you all and will miss Madeleine hugely, particularly her regular phone calls and concern for her well being......with lovexxxxxxx

There is not just one story, but many. She always made Zack and I feel like family. From the time I first met her to the time we rented from her, to the many visits. Close enough even still that Zack still calls her "Granny" and I know she loved the connection we had. Funny that after all the years ...... Zack and Kenisha should turn out to be friends! We were meant to stay connected. Sending our prayers and love to you all.

I remember staying at your house on Ferndale when we were little and she made so much toast with strawberry jam for breakfast-I still think of her when I eat toast with strawberry jam! And it was always a chocolate chip cookies with milk before bed! She was such a mother-she ran around making sure everyone was taken care of and she was so good at it-always such a caring person!
