Obituary of Gertrud Scheid

SCHEID, Gertrud Charlotte Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 26, 2011 at L.H.S.C. University Hospital, Gertrud Scheid, in her 83rd year. Loving wife and best friend of Gus for over 56 years. Dearly loved and caring mother of Dolores Mills and her husband Doug, and Bernie Scheid and his wife Louise. Beloved Oma to Emily, Nicole, Phillip, Katelyn and Elyse. Dear sister of Gerhard Menster (Ursula) and the late Otto, Gunter and Walter. Sister-in-law of Fred and Beate. Fondly remembered by her extended family in both Canada and Germany. The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff of L.H.S.C. University Hospital for their love, care and compassion. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 o'clock. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael's Parish, 511 Cheapside Street on Wednesday morning, August 31, 2011 at 10 o'clock. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the L.H.S.C. Foundation-Cardiac Care.
