DE MARCO, Carlo Natalino With heavy hearts, the family is saddened to announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Carlo De Marco at his home on August 21, 2011 in his 52nd year. Beloved husband and soulmate of Elizabeth (DeSando). Father of Julia, Franco, Gabriel and Emily. Loving son of Frank and Rita De Marco and son-in-law of Concettina DeSando. Dear brother of Rose (Joe) Elia and Marilena (Andrew) Vitaterna. Brother-in-law of Rosanna Trovato, Leo (Bonnie) DeSando, Joanna (Tony) Manganaro and Mimmo (Linda) DeSando. Dearest uncle of Mario and Daniel Elia, Nicolas and Livia Vitaterna, Matthew and Alexandra Trovato, Lindsay and Brenna DeSando, Francesco, Joseph Maria, and Dani Manganaro and Joseph and Luca DeSando. Predeceased by his father-in-law Joe DeSando and nephew Adam Vitaterna. He is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins in Canada and abroad, with whom he kept in constant contact. Carlo was the proud owner of Carriage Hill Construction, a company he started in 1993 with intentions of providing for his wife and kids, while also ensuring they were ready for the future that lay ahead. His hard work, devotion and attention to detail was noticed by many and cannot be replicated by anyone. The company will now be carried on in his memory by his wife and kids, who were his pride and joy. Through all the challenges that come with owning your own business, Carlo was still able to maintain a loving and caring relationship with his family. The inseparable bond that he created with his wife and children will last for eternity. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Monday from 2-5 & 7-9 o'clock. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street at York Street on Tuesday morning, August 23, 2011 at 11 o'clock. Entombment in the Holy Family Mausoleum at St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Monday evening at 8:15 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Mary's Church Restoration Fund.
