Obituary of Camiel Gustav Van Praet

Camiel G. Van Praet, 79, of Sarasota, Florida and formerly of Ontario passed away July 24, 2011. He was born September 26, 1931 in Chatham, Ontario the son of Arthur and Martha Van Praet. He worked for many years as a self employed business consultant. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife, Mariea Van Praet; three sons, Brian, Frank and Mark Van Praet; one daughter, Desiree Colwell; one brother, Arthur Van Praet; one step-daughter, Gillian Aeppli; 17 grandchildren and 6 great granchildren. Predeceased by Louise Johnson, Joseph Van Praet, Remi Van Praet, Blanche Cabak, Cis Wood and Frank Van Praet. A memorial service will be held at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday morning, September 9th at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.donohuefuneralhome.ca
