Obituary of Jean Howard

HOWARD, JEAN CECILIA It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Jean, on Tuesday, August 16, 2011, peacefully at The Dearness Home in her 79th year. Jean will be greatly missed by her children Debbie Sonier (Mike), Paul Howard (Sue), Rick Howard (Cindy), Darla Hexter (Moe) and Liana Seigler. Jean was predeceased by her son Philip and grandsons Blair and Byron Howard. She will also be greatly missed by her 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Survived by her brother James McKinnon; predeceased by sisters Mildred, Margaret and brothers Ted, Joe and Emmett. Jean was known for her love of bowling both as a player and as a manager of Arcade Eastown. Cremation has taken place. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday, August 30th from 6-9 pm. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Justin's Church, 855 Jalna Boulevard on Wednesday morning August 31st at 11 a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in Jean's memory are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society or Alzheimer Society.
