To Loretta's Family, We want to express our sincere sympathy to all of you on the loss of Loretta. We have fond memories of the Collins family. Both Howie and I spent so much time with Johnny. He coached both of us in ball at Glanworth and Howie for hockey. How lucky we were to have him give so much time to all of us. Special thanks should also go to Loretta as we realize how much patience she must have had to have her husband so busy in the community. Pat was the child closest to us in age. My mother, Thelma Whitney, was a member of the Smoke Club along with Loretta. Our thoughts are with all of you and we always remember how much your family meant to the Glanworth youth. As a very young boy,I loved going to the farm in Glanworth. Friday night we would go to the Knights game.I think it was on that farm that gave me a love of dogs and a strong work ethic. Grandma raised prize labs, and i had to feed the dogs and got to play with the pups. I can't imagine such a young boy climbing a ladder whitewashing the barn in todays world, but it was as normal then as it was to spend hours playing scrabble or yahtzee. Those simple times sure were the best, we never knew how lucky we were, but those memories i will never forget.

We are very sorry to hear about your loss. From our family to yours, our most heartfelt sympathies. I have so many fond memories of you all. The times that my Mom and Dad packed Danny and I into the car for a visit to the farm in Glanworth. Aunt Loretta lived longer than any of her brothers and sisters, and now she joins Uncle John and the rest of the clan in Heaven. I wish I could be there to celebrate her life with you, but am not able to go. My thoughts are with you. Edgar and Eve's daughter Suzanne(Beaudry) Hertz
