Obituary of Teresa Fox

At her home on July 30, 2011, Teresa Jane Fox, dear wife of the late Judge William H. (Bill) Fox, in her 92nd year. Dear mother of John (Diane), Paul ( Nancy), Mary Margaret (David) , Jane and Mark. Nana to Leigh, Chris, Allison, Roowan, John, Peterson, Scott and Vanessa. Grandmother and great grandmother through marriage to the Britnell (Andrew) and Russell (Tracy) families. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cherished friends. Daughter of the late Justice James M. and Teresa Coady, brothers James and Campbell and sister Mary Margaret MacKinnon, all of Vancouver. Born in Vancouver in 1920, Teresa was a graduate of Little Flower Academy (grade 12) and the University of British Columbia (BSc). She worked as a lab technician in Vancouver before she married Bill in 1945 and moved with him to London, Ontario to raise their family. Many years later she resumed working as a lab technician with the Canadian Red Cross Society in London. She was a longtime member and golfer at Sunningdale Golf and Country Club. Through 91 plus years of international, national, provincial and local change, she was always a steady and caring support to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all she touched. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London, on Wednesday, August 3 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.; prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Michael's Church, 511 Cheapside Street on Thursday, August 4 at 10:00 a.m.. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers , donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
