I have known Patrick for many years as a kind, caring and always a great listener to the concerns of others. Always thinking and acting in a Christ like way.
God bless you Patrick on your journey. You will be missed by your many freinds and acquaintances from the Y of which I am one of the many faces who greeted you each time that our paths crossed.
As in the old Irish Prayer. May the road rise up to meet you.May wind always be at your back.May the sunshine warm upon your face, and rains fall upon your fields. And until we meet again. May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Mary, Theresa and Tom, we have seen your gentle feet walk past our desk every morning for the past two weeks. Your courageous smiles and daily optimism is truly a gift that you have left with us. Seeing your kindness to strangers I do not doubt your brother Patrick was one of the same. God rest his humble soul. Our condolences goes out to your family as you mourn and celebrate his rich life.

My life was truly enriched from having known Patrick...his gentleness, his kindness, his warm good humor...hard to believe he left so quickly, but maybe "he went gently into that good night" because it was gentle and good as he was. I shall really miss Patrick and his warm bear hugs.
