Obituary of Mary Lou Fitzmaurice

Fitzmaurice, Mary Lou - Peacefully at L.H.S.C. University Hospital on June 15, 2011, Mary Lou Fitzmaurice in her 68th year. Survived by her sister Marnie (Bruce) De Muy and her special friend Bob Monk. Pre-deceased by her sisters Bernice Gegear (2008) and Colleen Fitzmaurice (2006). Survived by her brother-in-law Darcy Gegear. Beloved aunt of Brian (Marilyn Kwong) De Muy, Alison (Andrew Thompson) De Muy, Rob (Kim) Gegear and David (Lucy) Gegear. Special great-aunt of Benjamin and Jonathan De Muy, Elise and Amy Thompson and Shea, Spencer and Ainsley Gegear. Special thanks for the support given by the Elmwood Place staff and Dr. Christen Shoesmith at the ALS clinic at University Hospital. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 o'clock. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue at Richmond Street on Saturday morning, June 18, 2011 at 9:30 o'clock. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Friday evening at 7 o'clock. Donations made to the ALS Society of Ontario would be greatly appreciated.
