McCarthy, Lawrence At London Health Sciences Centre - University Hospital on Friday, February 21, 2014 Lawrence J. (Larry) in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret McCarthy. Proud father of Catherine Sporre and her husband Bill, Sharon Haughney and her husband Jim, Margaret-Ann McCarthy and her husband John Rouse and Larry McCarthy and his wife Diane. Loved grandfather of Billy (Brittany), Joey, Katie, Christine, James, Emily, Mary, Sean, Nick, Matthew and Michael. Great grandfather of William. Lawrence was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and U.S. Navy. He had a love of camping and the outdoors which he shared with his children and grandchildren. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica, Dufferin Avenue at Richmond Street on Thursday morning at 11:30 o'clock. Prayers Wednesday afternoon at 2:15 o'clock. Cremation with Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington, Ontario at a later date.
