Obituary of Christina Julia Duckitt

Duckitt, Julia Passed away peacefully on April 14, 2011 at Longworth Long Term Care, London, Ontario at the age of 81. Predeceased by her beloved Joe to whom she was married for over 57 years. Much loved mother of Brigid Copland (Michael) of Kitchener, Marian Roy (Mike) of Whitby, Joan Duckitt of London, Celeste Thompson (Bill) of Windsor and Michelle Duckitt of Woodstock. Cherished grandma of Marc, Matthew, Julie, Alexandra, Lyndsey, Rachel, Katrina, Danielle, Deana and Marly. Fondly loved great-grandmother "G-G" of Mariah, Emma and Memphis. Remembered by her extended family in Mississauga, Burlington, Orangeville, South Africa, England and Australia. Julia was a gentle woman of devout faith who had tremendous compassion for others. She was a loving and devoted wife and the most amazing and caring mother and grandmother. She had strength beyound our imaging. The family would like to thank the caring staff of Yellow Rose at Longworth LTC. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Sunday, April 17th from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Prayers Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. George Church Roman Catholic Church, 1164 Commissioners Road West on Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Woodstock on Monday afternoon at 1:30.
