Obituary of James Donald MacRae

MacRae, James (Jamesey, J.D., Jade, Jim) - A man of many names and talents, he was gentle, patient and just plain funny. Jade died suddenly in the early hours of April 8, 2011 at Victoria Hospital in London, ON. Husband, soul mate and teddy bear to Margaret Rose Ryan MacRae. Superdad to Turtle (Jen (Mathew Hoy), Toad (Ian (Cathy Moore)) and Angus the wonderdog. Best-in-class grandpa to Ferris and Pearl MacRae Hoy. Devoted son of Donald (Eileen) of Dublin and loving big brother of Michael (Patricia) of Seaforth. Predeceased by his caring mom, Anne, and his beautiful sister Nora Anne Jackson (Basil Jennings). Brother-in-law to a rowdy bunch of amazing people and uncle to dozens of incredible nieces and nephews. Join us in a celebration of Jade's life with visitation on Sunday, April 10 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, London. A brief visitation on Monday, April 11 at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral mass at 11a.m. Instead of flowers, please consider a donation to the London Regional Cancer Program C/O London Health Sciences Centre.
