Passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Friday March 18, 2011 at LHSC University Hospital in his 80th year. Beloved and devoted husband of Noemia for almost 60 years. Loving father of Tina Santos. Cherished grandfather to Rick and his wife Andrea. Much loved Vou Vou to Lauren. Dear brother to Manuel (Tomazia) Rodrigues of London and his 3 sisters and 2 brothers in Portugal. Predeceased by his brother Antonio. Also survived by his many nieces and nephews. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael's Church, 511 Cheapside Street, on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery.
