Obituary of Pasquale Pepe

Pepe, Pasquale- Suddenly on March 17, 2011, surrounded by his family, the world lost a gentle giant. Pasquale, in his 84th year, is survived by his beloved wife Antonietta of 53 years. Devoted father to his four children, Mike, Silvester (Judith), Josephine, and Cristina. Cherished Nonno to Jordan, Zachary, Miranda, Marshall and Victoria Rose. Dear brother of Carmela (late Francesco) in Italy. Predeceased by his brother Francesco (survived by Teodorina). Survived by his sister-in-law Concetta (Giovanni) Circelli, sister-in-law Maria (late Salvatore) D'Andrea, brother-in-law Michele (Maria) Del Re, sister-in-law Giuseppina (Francesco) D'Arrisso along with many nieces and nephews, both here in Canada, as well as in Italy. Born May 14, 1927 in San Bartolomeo in Galdo, Italy, he immigrated to Canada with his wife and young family in 1963. You could always find him tending to his garden, dancing the night away with his wife, or making plans for his next travel destination. He was a hard worker who always took pride in all he produced, especially his homemade wine, sauces, and prosciutto. His generous spirit will live on. Visitation will be held at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street on Saturday from 6-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 345 Lyle Street on Monday morning March 21st at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow in Holy Family Chapel Mausoleum at St. Peter's Cemetery, Prayers Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Pasquale are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
