White, Rev. Michael Francis
Rev. Michael Francis White died peacefully at Marian Villa on Thursday September 30, 2010. He is the beloved son of the late John White and Mary Harrigan. He is survived by his sister Sr. Mary Carmel and Elaine Culleton, also a sister-in-law Marilyn White, his brothers Patrick (Joan) and James (Rita) White, his brothers-in-law John Popelas, Derek Kotchie, David Culleton and many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sisters Patricia Bliss, Joan Popelas, Marlene White and Mary Lou Kotchie, his brothers Edwin and John T. White, his brother-in-law Bill Bliss. Father White was ordained by Bishop Cody on June 4, 1955. During his priestly ministry he served in Simcoe, St. Thomas, Windsor, Petrolia, Wyoming and London. He was Chaplain for the Knights of Columbus, the Catholic Women's League, the Cursillo Program and the Benevolent Society. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Sunday, October 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock, then lying in state at St. Michael's Church, 511 Cheapside Street on Monday afternoon, October 4th from 12:30 until the time of the Funeral Mass at 1:30 pm. Most Reverend Bishop Ronald Fabbro CSB celebrant. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Sunday evening in the funeral home at 7 o'clock. Donations may be made to St. Peter's Seminary or Marian Villa c/o St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation.
