Obituary of Walter Seliski

Seliski Walter Peacefully, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle, Walter Seliski at the age of 83 passed into God's care on January 21, 2014 at Parkwood Hospital. Beloved husband of Anne for 58 years. Devoted father of Angela Decker and her husband Randy, Kathy Downe and her husband Peter, Diane Bell and Robert Seliski. Cherished grandfather and great grandfather of Julia (Adrian), Conor (Julia), Adriana, Brandon, Katie, Elena, Anthony, Alia and Julian. Dear brother of Stella Murphy. Uncle Walter will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. He was a proud member of the Western Ontario Fish and Game Protective Association, an avid fisherman, gardener, woodcarver and sincere friend to many. A heartfelt thank you to C.C.A.C. and to all the Dr's and nurses of Parkwood Hospital Palliative Care for their compassion and kindness. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's Church, 377 Oakland Avenue on Friday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. Prayers Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Donations to the London Regional Cancer Program - C/O L.H.S.F would be appreciated.
