Obituary of Orma Catherine Melvin

Orma Catherine Melvin nee MacMillan Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother and family matriarch passed away at her home on Friday July 30th after a brief illness with cancer. She is survived by her sister Margaret Ward (London). Children: daughter Lindsay (Ingo) Leinen; son Hart (Sherab) Melvin; daughter JoAnn (Peter) Beaupre; son Carl Melvin. Orma is survived by nine grandchildren: Stephanie (Carl Larocque) LeMay, Matthew (Jenny) LeMay; Sean Melvin, Tinley Melvin, Robbi Melvin; David (Rhonda) Beaupre, Andrew (Melanie) Beaupre, Joseph Beaupre, John-Paul Beaupre. Great grandchildren: Sydney Larocque, Cole Larocque, Ella LeMay, Noa LeMay, Lucas Beaupre, Danny Beaupre, Lila Beaupre, Anna Beaupre, Jamie Beaupre. Orma is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Alexander and Joanna MacMillan and husband David Melvin. A memorial gathering will take place at a later date. The children of Orma would like to express their gratitude and thanks to all the professionals and friends who assisted us in fulfilling her wishes to spend her final days in her home. John T.
