As we are an Irish family, there were many funny memories over the years. But I must say one of the funniest was the "skit" Uncle Bill and Aunt Mary used to perform to the William Tell Overture. It would start with Aunt Mary looking out yonder, with hand shielding eyes to scan the horizon. And alas, she see's her "target", then jumps onto the back of her trusted and faithful...husband(aka Uncle Bill) to then ride like to wind to play hero.
We would laugh until we cried! Thank you Uncle Bill, for bringing us such fun and laughter. You were missed over the years!
