Obituary of Armin Yenlin

Yenlin, Armin It is with profound sorrow that our family announces the passing of our patriarch, Armin Yenlin. Surrounded by many loved ones, he slipped away peacefully in his sleep in the palliative care unit at Parkwood Hospital on January 1, 2014, in his 76th year, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved father of Davy Yenlin and wife Shannon Pilkington, and previously deceased daughter, Candace Yenlin; Joe and Dawn Higgin (nee Yenlin) and Apryl Yenlin. Cherished grandfather of Jade, Sarah and Xander Yenlin, Morgan Yenlin, Jessica and Michael Pilkington and Abbey Yenlin. Will be missed dearly by his former wife Vivi Yenlin. Dear brother of Beth Strickland, Jan Madsen, Leif Madsen and Mary Madsen, and the late Ben Madsen. Fondly remembered by many in-laws, nieces and nephews and great friends. As per his wishes, there will not be any services but a Celebration of Life will be held by the family and close friends at a later date. Please give to the Canadian Cancer Society.
