Gomez On Thursday, October 23, 2008 Angela Rosa Gomez De Gomez in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Benjamin Gomez. Loving mother of Luis Teodoro ( M. Cecilia Pulgarin), the late Jose Jaime, Nestor Javier (E. Teribell Bonilla) and Luz Angela (Humberto Rayo). Mother in law of Martha E. Botero. Loved grandmother of Dora Cecilia, Jaime Andres, Juan Sebastian, Paola Andrea, Felipe Alejandro, Angela Maria, Maria Natalia, Maria Carolina, Andres Felipe and Maria Paula. Cherished aunt of Ricardo ( Liliana), Ituriel (Carolina), Carlos (Cristina) and their children, Angelica, Dianita and Juan Manuel. Angela Rosa was the loving and nurturing matriarch of the Gomez family. A pillar of strength and wisdom; she always spoke kind words to all willing ears, and loved all mankind regardless of class, race or creed. Her thirst for knowledge was only surpassed by her unfaltering faith, which she lovingly instilled into her progeny. A peaceful woman; she was forever grateful to the great nation of Canada and its people, with whom she happily spent her last seven years of life. Anyone who was blessed by her company would find her patience, humility, benevolence, charity and selflessness great examples to follow, as she guided us with her deep bliss and love for life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but we will carry on knowing her light shines through in the beauty of her legacy. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Martin of Tours Church, 46 Cathcart Street, on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. (John T. Donohue Funeral Home)
