Obituary of Lionel Rejean Doucette

DOUCETTE Passed away peacefully at McCormick Home on May 31, 2008, Leo Doucette in his 75th year. Beloved husband and companion of Helen (nee McCarthy) for over 52 years. He will be lovingly missed by his devoted daughters Dympna Cybulski and her husband Dan, and Elizabeth Sneddon and her husband Ken McLennan. Cherished grandfather of Anne, Scott (Amanda), Julie, David, Mary, and B.J. Dear brother to Emily Gioia (Tony), Blanche Ough (Art), Paul (Mary Rose) and Linda Minor (Rudy). Leo served his country from 1952 to 1973 and finished his military career as a Master Warrant Officer. He was also a past District Governor with the Angus and Thornton Lions Clubs, and a past Grand Knight of the Our Lady of Grace Parish Knights of Columbus Council #10818 in Angus. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 o'clock. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street on Tuesday morning June 2, 2008 at 10 o'clock. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Monday evening 7:30 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Memory Lane, MCormick Home. 'Gone but not forgotten.'
