Obituary of Patrick Joseph McKeon

McKeon Patrick, 86, died peacefully in his sleep on January 17, 2008 at London Health Sciences Centre, University Hospital in London, Ontario. Born in 1921 in the United Kingdom, Patrick served in the British forces in WW II but spent the majority of his adult life in London, Ontario. He was a passionate and inspiring educator and his dedication and generosity will be remembered by hundreds of students and colleagues. He will be sadly missed by wife Veronica, his children Maureen and Kevin, his extended families in Ireland and England, and by a wide circle of friends and colleagues around the world. At the family's request, there will be no visitation. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Martin of Tours Church, 46 Cathcart Street on Monday, January 21 at 11 am. Private interment at St. Peter's Cemetery. A reception for all family and friends at St. Martin's Church hall will follow the Mass. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. (John T.
